Jake's First Year in Pictures

Born 29 April 1998, vital statistics announced via chocolate:

The process was tiring for Jake, Mom and Dad:

Before we could blink, Jake was one month old:

Still growing, learning to hold his head up, getting a tiny little bit fussy...

And then he was two months old:

Still growing, becoming ever more aware, next thing we know, Jake is three months old:

Now summer is fully underway and Jake makes it to four months old.  Granpa manages to get some serious cuddle time at every opportunity.....

With September comes Jake's christening, and an opportunity for everyone to come together:

And with October, comes the turning and falling of the leaves, but not before a walk in the park tucked into Mom's backpack:

It started to get cold in November, so Mom taught Jake how to read.  Dad was content to look at the fan with Jake -- an early indicator of similar personalities?  Uh oh....

December and Christmas!  Lot of toys, lots of good food (it's all relative), lots of good company, and Jake is starting to think about commencing to crawl.

January is seriously cold outside, but there's always a warm fire and Granpa available.

February is still cold, but Mom and Dad are fun to play with.

March -- things are starting to heat up.  In more ways than one.

April -- where has this year gone????  A year old and getting into everything.
