The heat wave continues, everything is MELTING.... even things that aren't wicked witches

Jake had a play date with Meg's Jake.  We called them Big Jake and Little Jake and they had fun all day.  First in the sandbox, and then in the pool.  And then in the sandbox, and then in the pool.  And then in the sandbox and then in the pool.   By the end of the day, they had created their own little beachfront property inside the pool.

Jake goes exploring all over the ol' homestead:

And he met a real live honest to goodness DOG, named Shadow. 

Shadow wasn't all that taken with Jake and they mostly circled each other warily. 

Jake's getting tall.....

All in all, it's a great life for a growing little man.
